Changelog

2026.07.2800

  • Fixed: ReCue could occasionally quit unexpectedly while saving, refreshing, or recalling Ghostty tabs.

2026.07.2700

  • Fixed: when multiple Chrome browser instances are running, launching another instance no longer makes previously saved tabs appear closed; recall still returns to the browser instance where the tab was saved.
  • Fixed: on some macOS versions, recalling a regular window from a fullscreen app could place it over the fullscreen content instead of returning to the window's original space.

2026.07.2601

  • Fixed: recalling a regular window from another app's fullscreen space now returns to the window's own space instead of placing it over the fullscreen app.

2026.07.2600

  • Changed: recall never moves or resizes windows anymore. It un-minimizes, raises, and switches to the space the window is on right now (including a space on another display) — it takes you to the window instead of dragging the window to you. Position and size always stay exactly where you last put them.
  • Changed: recall matches strictly the exact window you saved, with no title-similarity fallback, so it can never raise a look-alike window with the same title. Windows recreated after an app relaunch are reported plainly as closed.
  • Fixed: recalling a window in a fullscreen space could do nothing, or wrongly report "window closed", when the same app had another window on the current screen.

2026.07.2505

  • Changed: recalling a window that is currently in fullscreen now jumps to its fullscreen space instead of dragging it out of fullscreen onto the current screen. Recalling non-fullscreen windows is unchanged.
  • Fixed: the Dock and menu bar occasionally staying on screen after jumping to a fullscreen space.

2026.07.2504

  • Changed: after an app restarts, a saved tab no longer jumps to a tab that merely shares its title — it now reports plainly that the tab is closed. Tab identifiers do not survive the app quitting, and falling back to the title lands you on a different tab in a different window.

2026.07.2503

  • Fixed: saving two windows with identical titles overwrote the first record ("Updated") instead of keeping both, so only one was stored. Each window is now saved as its own record.

2026.07.2502

  • Fixed: a window that had already been closed sometimes still showed as available, and recalling it did nothing. Such windows are now correctly marked as closed.
  • Fixed: the Alfred workflow no longer lists windows that cannot be recalled.

2026.07.2501

  • Added: /add-window and /add-tab in the Alfred workflow, for saving the current window or tab straight into the current project.

2026.07.2500

  • First public release.
