ReCue is a window workspace switcher for macOS. It groups windows and supported tabs from different apps by project, helping you find and bring back windows when you switch tasks, at the size and position they were last seen, on your current screen.

Common cases

• ReCue requires macOS 14 or later.
• Tab saving currently supports Ghostty 1.3+, Google Chrome, Google Chrome Canary, and Google Chrome for Testing. Other apps can still be saved as windows, but not as individual tabs.
• Restore only targets windows and tabs that still exist; it never launches apps that aren't running. Closed entries are dimmed and must be saved again before they can be restored.
• The save-window and save-tab shortcuts are fixed at ⌃⌥⌘S and ⌃⌥⌘T. ⌥Space is the default panel shortcut and can be changed in ReCue Settings.

A note on privacy

Window and project data stay on your Mac, and ReCue does not attach them automatically. Before sending a report, hide sensitive information in screenshots and window titles; you can also leave them out when they are not relevant.
